Quick questions, answered.
What does an AI consultant do for a UK business?
An AI consultant studies how your team works, finds the tasks AI can take on, and ranks them by cost and return. With Devsinn you get up to 12 ranked AI opportunities and a six-month roadmap in about two weeks, for a fixed £1,950, ready to build with us or anyone else.
How much does an AI consultant cost in the UK?
Our AI Adoption Roadmap is a fixed £1,950, agreed before we start. No hourly billing, and the fee is credited if you hire an AI Specialist within 30 days.
How long does an AI roadmap take?
Usually one to two weeks from the first call to a finished, costed plan.
Is our data safe with an AI consultant?
Yes. We work under a data processing agreement, follow UK GDPR and never train AI models on your data.
Do we have to build the plan with Devsinn?
No. The roadmap is yours to use with any team, in house or external.
What does an AI consultant actually do for a small business?
An AI consultant studies how your business runs, finds the tasks where AI saves real time or money, estimates the cost and return of each, and recommends what to do first. A good one also tells you where AI is not worth it yet. You get a plan you can act on, with or without us.
What is an AI readiness assessment?
An AI readiness assessment checks whether your data, systems, skills and policies are ready for AI, and where the gaps are. Our roadmap includes this: we review your tools and data quality, flag UK GDPR and security considerations, and show which opportunities are ready now and which need groundwork first.
AI consultant or hiring an AI engineer: which comes first?
Start with a consultant if you are not yet sure where AI will pay off. The roadmap tells you what to build and the skills needed. Hire an engineer, or use our AI Specialist service, once you know the projects and have enough ongoing work to keep someone busy.
How long does the AI roadmap take?
About two weeks from kick-off. That includes a workshop with your team, interviews with the people doing the work, a review of your systems and data, and a final session where we walk you through the ranked opportunities and the six-month roadmap.
Do we have to use Devsinn to build what the roadmap recommends?
No. The roadmap is yours to use however you like, including with another supplier or your own team. If you do choose us to build, the roadmap feeds straight into a fixed-price quote, so no discovery work is repeated.
Is using AI UK GDPR compliant?
AI can be used lawfully under UK GDPR if you know what personal data is involved, have a lawful basis, choose suppliers with suitable data processing terms, and are open with people affected. The roadmap flags the data protection steps for each opportunity so you can plan them in.
