Pricing
How much does an AI consultant cost in the UK?
Our AI Adoption Roadmap costs a fixed £1,950 plus VAT. You get a workflow review, a leadership workshop, up to 12 AI opportunities ranked by return and a six-month plan in about two weeks. The fee is credited if you hire an AI Specialist within 30 days.
How much does an AI automation project cost?
It depends on the systems involved, so we fix the price after a short discovery and send the quote within five working days. A single focused automation typically costs a few thousand pounds; larger builds are priced per phase. You approve the price before any build starts.
How much does it cost to hire an AI engineer through you?
An embedded AI Specialist starts at £2,250 a month for 20 hours a week, or £3,900 a month full-time, plus VAT. There are no recruitment fees. The minimum term is three months, then month to month.
Do prices include VAT?
No. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT. Your proposal shows the VAT position before you sign.
Are there ongoing costs after launch?
Sometimes. AI models and cloud services charge for usage. We estimate those running costs before you commit, pass them through at cost, and offer optional support plans so the system keeps working as your tools change.
How we work
How do we start working with Devsinn?
Book a free 20-minute strategy call. We listen to what slows your team down, tell you honestly whether AI or software can fix it, and recommend one next step: a roadmap, a fixed-price project or an embedded specialist.
How long does an AI project take?
A focused automation usually goes live in one to two weeks. Larger builds with several systems or AI agents take four to twelve weeks, delivered in phases so you see working results early. You get a dated plan before we start.
Will we see progress during the build?
Yes. We share working progress every week, test with the people who will use the system, and agree acceptance tests in writing so everyone knows what done looks like.
Who owns the code and the work?
You do. Once paid, you own the code, prompts, configurations and documentation we create for you. We do not lock you in to our team or tools.
Do you work on site?
We are based in Nottingham and work remotely by default, which keeps costs down. We are happy to run workshops on site in the East Midlands, and elsewhere in the UK by arrangement.
Data and security
Is AI automation UK GDPR compliant?
It can be when designed properly. We build in a lawful basis, data minimisation, security and human review where decisions affect people, document what data each AI component uses, and help you update privacy notices and impact assessments.
Do you use our data to train AI models?
No, not by default. We configure AI services under business or API terms so your prompts and documents are not used to train the provider's models. Any fine-tuning on your data needs your written agreement first.
Where will our data be stored?
In UK or EU regions where your policies require it, or inside your own cloud account. We tell you the region for every service before work starts.
Will you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. We sign yours or provide ours before we handle any personal data.
AI
What can AI automate in a small business?
The repetitive work that follows clear rules: answering common enquiries, sorting and summarising emails, reading invoices and forms, chasing leads, drafting reports, updating systems and searching your own documents. The best first project is usually the task your team dislikes most.
Should we hire an AI consultant or an AI engineer?
Hire a consultant when you are not sure where AI will pay back and need a plan. Hire an engineer when you know what to build and need someone to build and run it. Many clients start with a roadmap, then add an engineer to deliver it.
Is Microsoft Copilot enough, or do we need custom AI?
Copilot is a good start for drafting, summarising and searching inside Microsoft 365. Custom AI is worth it when you need AI to act across several systems, follow your own process, or handle work Copilot cannot reach. We can tell you which you need on a free call.
Will AI replace our staff?
In most of our projects AI takes over repetitive tasks so people can spend time on customers and judgement work. We design systems with a human in charge of decisions that matter.
Software and apps
Do you build software as well as AI?
Yes. We build web applications, internal tools, client portals and iOS and Android apps, with or without AI features. Most builds use Next.js for web and Flutter or FlutterFlow for mobile.
Should we buy off-the-shelf software or build custom?
Buy off the shelf when your process is standard and a good product exists. Build custom when your process is how you win, when you are paying for many tools that do not connect, or when per-user licences outgrow the cost of building.
Can you take over an existing app built by someone else?
Usually, yes. We start with a short technical review of the code, hosting and documentation, tell you plainly what state it is in, and give you options to stabilise, improve or rebuild.
Support
Do you support systems after launch?
Yes. Every build includes a support period after launch, and you can choose a monthly support plan that covers monitoring, fixes and small improvements as your tools and needs change.
How fast do you reply to enquiries and support requests?
We reply to new enquiries within one UK working day. Support response times are set out in your support plan.
Working with us from outside the UK
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. We are UK-first and Nottingham-based, and we also work with clients worldwide. Engagements run remotely with scheduled overlap hours in your time zone.
Can we pay in US dollars or euros?
Yes. We price in GBP and can quote in USD or EUR on request at the rate on the day of the quote.
Which time zones can you cover?
We work UK hours and overlap comfortably with Europe, the Middle East and the US East Coast. We agree regular call times that suit you at the start of the engagement.
