In short

Cloud and DevOps services cover moving systems to the cloud, setting them up securely, automating testing and releases, and monitoring them so problems are caught early. Devsinn works with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Vercel for UK businesses, using UK or EU data regions, fixed-price projects in GBP and optional monthly management.

What you get

  • Lower cloud bills

Right-sized resources and no paying for idle servers.

  • Safer releases

Automated tests and deployments with one-click rollback.

  • Fewer outages

Monitoring and alerts before customers notice.

  • Recoverable

Backups and a tested plan for when things go wrong.

What does a cloud and DevOps engagement include?

It usually starts with a review of your current setup, costs and risks, then fixes in priority order: secure accounts and networks, infrastructure defined as code, automated build and release pipelines, monitoring and alerting, backups and a disaster recovery plan. Each piece is documented so your team can run it confidently.

  • Cloud account security: single sign-on, MFA, least-privilege roles.
  • Infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar tools.
  • CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
  • Monitoring, logs and alerts routed to the right people.
  • Backups and recovery tested, not just switched on.

How much do cloud and DevOps services cost?

A cloud review with a written cost and risk report starts from £1,500 + VAT. Migrations of a typical small business application start from £6,000 + VAT, and pipeline and monitoring setups from £3,500 + VAT. Ongoing management starts from £400 + VAT a month. We quote fixed prices after the review.

AWS, Azure or Google Cloud: which is right for you?

If you already use Microsoft 365, Azure often fits best for identity and licensing. AWS has the widest range of services and a large talent pool. Google Cloud is strong for data and AI workloads. For web apps, platforms like Vercel can be simplest. We recommend based on your systems, skills and costs, not commission.

How can we cut our cloud bill?

Most savings come from switching off idle resources, right-sizing servers and databases, using reserved or savings plans for steady workloads, tidying storage and logs, and setting budgets with alerts. A review shows where the money goes and which changes are safe, before anything is switched off.

What is DevOps and why does it matter?

DevOps is a way of working that automates testing, building and releasing software, and monitors it in production. For a business, it means new features ship faster, releases stop being risky late-night events, and problems are found and fixed sooner. It also reduces reliance on one person who knows how everything works.

Questions people ask

Still unsure? Ask us on a free 20-minute call.

Will a cloud migration cause downtime?

We plan migrations to keep downtime to a minimum, usually a short, scheduled window outside business hours, and sometimes none at all. We rehearse the move first, keep the old system ready for rollback, and agree the timing with you in advance.

Where will our data be stored?

We default to UK or EU regions, such as AWS London or Azure UK South, to support your UK GDPR obligations. We document which data sits where, who can access it, and which third-party services process it, so you have a clear record.

Do we keep control of our cloud accounts?

Yes. Cloud accounts and billing stay in your organisation's name, and we access them with named, least-privilege roles that you can remove at any time. Infrastructure code lives in your repository, so another team can take over without starting again.

How much can we save on cloud costs?

It depends on how your cloud has grown. Unused resources, oversized servers and missing savings plans are common, but we only quote figures after a review of your actual bills. The review report shows each saving, its risk and the effort required.

Do you work with our existing developers?

Yes. Often we set up the pipelines, environments and monitoring, then train your developers to use them. Your team keeps building features while we handle the platform, or we hand it over fully with documentation and a walkthrough.

What about backups and disaster recovery?

We set backups with retention that suits your needs, store copies separately from production, and test restores on a schedule. You get a written recovery plan stating how long recovery takes and how much data could be lost, so you can make informed decisions.
