How much does managed IT support cost in the UK?
Managed IT support is usually priced per user per month. Our plans start from £35 + VAT per user per month for remote support and Microsoft 365 management, with a one-off onboarding fee from £500 + VAT. Project work such as office moves or migrations is quoted separately at a fixed price.

What response times should you expect?
Response times should be written into the contract. Ours aim for a response within one business hour for urgent issues affecting several people, four business hours for single-user problems, and the next business day for routine requests. We report response and resolution times every month so you can hold us to them.

Why do small businesses need managed IT?
Small firms are frequent targets for phishing and account takeover, and most do not have someone whose job is IT. The UK Government's Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025 found 43% of businesses identified a breach or attack in the previous 12 months. Managed IT puts basic protections and expert help in place for a predictable cost.
Can you support remote and hybrid teams?
Yes. Most support is delivered remotely, which suits hybrid and fully remote teams across the UK. We manage devices over the internet, so laptops are patched, encrypted and backed up wherever staff work. On-site visits are available in Nottingham and the East Midlands for hardware and office work.

Questions people ask
Still unsure? Ask us on a free 20-minute call.
Do you offer IT support outside Nottingham?
Yes. Remote support covers businesses anywhere in the UK, and most issues are fixed remotely. On-site visits are included for clients in Nottingham and the East Midlands, and can be arranged elsewhere in the UK at an agreed rate when hardware or office work needs a visit.
Is there a minimum contract length?
Our standard agreement is 12 months with 90 days' notice, which lets us plan proper onboarding and security work. We also offer rolling monthly terms at a slightly higher price per user. The contract states response times, what is included and how to leave cleanly.
What happens to our data and passwords if we leave?
They stay yours. We keep documentation of your systems, accounts and admin access in a shared vault you control, and we hand everything over when you leave. Admin accounts are owned by your organisation, so another provider or in-house person can take over smoothly.
Can you help us get Cyber Essentials?
Yes. We prepare you for Cyber Essentials by fixing the controls it checks, such as secure configuration, patching, malware protection, user access and firewalls. Certification itself is awarded by an accredited certification body; we work alongside them and make sure you are ready to pass.
Do you support Apple Macs as well as Windows?
Yes. We support Windows PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads and Android phones, and manage them centrally with Microsoft Intune or similar tools. Mixed environments are common in creative and professional firms, and we price them the same way per user.
Can you manage our broadband, phones and software suppliers?
Yes. We deal with your broadband provider, phone system, printers and line-of-business software vendors on your behalf, logging and chasing faults until they are fixed. You get one point of contact instead of spending hours on hold to different suppliers.
How do you handle new starters and leavers?
Tell us a few days ahead and we prepare accounts, licences, devices and access for new starters, so they can work on day one. For leavers, we remove access on their last day, recover devices and keep their email and files according to your retention policy.
